Warning: this post has NO pictures. I apologize... but there's just something that's not very appealing about a red faced out of breath girl. I know you can thank me later.
Anyways, I'm training for a 5K with my friend. The race is in March. Matt and I have been walking and doing some exercising this week to start training. But, today was the first day my friend and I worked out together. We did pretty well if I do say so myself. Every other 1/4 mile of the trail we jogged and I thought I would die. Thanks to my friend, she kept me from stopping--- because if it was up to me I probably would have walked the whole thing. (I HATE running!!! I have always HATED running!!!, even when I was in shape playing basketball.)
Let's just hope I keep up my training after I go back to work starting on Monday.

Hi Kari!
My wife also hated running, but she found a program called "couch to 5k" that has really worked for her. It's a podcast that you listen to while you're running, and in the course of a few months it builds up from walking routines to full hour-long runs. She loves it. Anyway, congrats on your 5k goal!

That's just how I feel about running! I have never liked it. But I have faith in you!!!!
