Primary Class

Here's a few hilarious moments while teaching the 8 and 9 year olds at church on Sunday.

Me: Hey you guys have to learn this song because the primary presentation is coming up and you have to sing it.

Isabel: OMG when?

(She's 9. Why is she already speaking to me in txting language?)

After already explaining about the Martyrdom of Joseph Smith and Hyrum, I proceed to show my class pictures of the Jail my sister-in-law took when we went there on vacation.

Me: These are some pictures from Carthage Jail.

Steve: You mean it's a real place?

Me: OF COURSE IT'S A REAL PLACE!!!! Did you think I was just telling you a story?

I was there...I heard it all...

But my favorite still is when Adam sub'd and said:

Adam: "What are some commandments that are hard to keep?"

Steve: "Sometimes...it's really hard for me to remember to look both ways before I cross the street."

Hahahahahahhahahaha!!!! WOW. I think your class is funnier than mine...Steve is full of one-liners..if only he knew it!

One of my kids cussed this week. TWICE. I think I told you that already...I wonder what Isabel's reaction to that would have been! Haha..."OMG!!!"

She did NOT say "OMG"!?!? Oh, our poor little future kids. What is this world coming to?!

HAHA kids are awesome! Hannah's primary teacher tells me all the funny things she says in class. Apparently some of her top favs to discuss are Spongebob episodes.
