I NeVeR Blog.... Oops.

I'm sorry I never blog. Matt and I aren't that interesting apparently. haha. We are trying to get back in shape and be healthy. So we are in the process of buying new BIKES! It's loads of fun. Matt actually already bought his. So now it's just me.

We were doing this Couch to 5K plan that I saw on my friend's blog. It looked awesome. By the end of the summer we were going to be able to JOG a 5K. But, we did it the first day and we never did it again. We FAILED! Actually, the problem is Matt's LONG legs mean his JOGGING is me SPRINTING! No bueno. So I tell him to slow down and my jogging is him walking in place. haha. Can you imagine?

Solution: BIKES.

So when, I finally get my bike and we actually take them outside and use them, we'll have to take a picture (because everyone knows people only look at blogs for the pictures).

We also are borrowing Matt's parents' boflex. We're going to be BUFF. Just watch out. :) I don't even know how to use it. He tried to show me the other day, but I'm still learning.

Anyways, working out is our big summer plans. Matt's in school all summer so no vacations. And I work all the time, so no weekend vacations. But oh snap am I going to be skinny and buff when the summer is over!!!

good luck~ I too need to get back into shape! I've def got a spare tire going on. I love that you said people only look at blogs for photos, because our camera broke..therefore I feel like I can no longer blog because people won't want to read just text! Love it!

Ha the visual I get from thinking about my brother running alongside his teeny tiny little wife just seriously made my week...it's awesome though you guys are doing this together. I would love to have a bike and take family bike rides with Hannah and Shane and soon to be Connor. I just need a seat wide enough for my big butt!!

Keep with it. Jason and I actually started the C25K in May, had to take a break cause of weeks of rain, then started up again last week. And granted, he's not as tall as Matt but he is still going really slow for me. We did week 3 day 1 yesterday and let me tell ya, I never thought I'd be able to jog 3 minutes straight before. It's great to do it together cause he helps keep me motivated and going. I hope the bikes work out for both of you!
