Our New Header

On Monday night for FHE, Matt and I went to the grocery store. We did so good. The "Biggest Loser" trainers would be so proud of us. We ate dinner first, so we weren't hungry when we went. And we made a list and pretty much stuck to it. There were a few things that we forgot to put on the list so once we saw it on the shelf we realized we needed it. I was so proud... especially because it was healthy food?!?!?! I know. Can you believe it? I bought healthy food and NO junk food! Amazing if I do say so myself.

Then, we came home, turned on the Game Show Network, and worked on our new header. It took a long time. But I think it turned out really well. What do you think? I picked the font because I think it looks like my handwriting. As soon as my mom saw it, she said the same thing.

Here's what we are up to:

Matt's on his short break from school before summer school starts up again. He's working at Lamar in the Career and Testing Center. He's tutoring a high school student as well until his school gets out.

I just work, Work, WORK! My favorite part about my job is the friends I've made there. I'm the weekend producer for a local TV station, but I produce more shows during the week, than on the weekends.

Our days off never match up though, so we don't get to go and do as much as we would like to. But when we do, we have a blast!

Swine Flu Vaccine

So tonight we all decided we wanted a cookie cake....but we didn't have a good reason to buy one. We tried to come up with something to say on it, so I decided that we'd just have to be our Swine Flu Vaccine =)

Workin' at the Car Wash...

So it was a beautiful Saturday... (Perfect for a TAN)... so Matt and I decided to spend the day outside washing our cars.

Matt cleaned out his car.

Then we washed it. Then, I dried it.

Then, I was tired. So Matt did all the work on my car...

And I started playing... :)

And he tried to get me back...

But it didn't work.. haha :P

After all our hard work, we went to a link sale fundraiser thing for the middle school and got sno cones!!! We ate them outside so I could work on my tan some more and Matt could get sun burnt.

I NEED a Swimming Pool

I have HORRIBLE back pains everyday. (It's because I lean over my desk all day long while I'm at work staring at my computer, and my computer chair isn't that great either.) Poor Matt has to give me a massage almost everyday to try and work these HUGE knots out of my back.

So, I was watching Rachael Ray the other day and she had a doctor on the show that was talking about back pains. They did the human lab tests with athletes who have back pain. Anyways, the doctor said the best thing you can do when you have back pain is go swimming. Swimming is good for back pain because you aren't sitting or laying down and putting more stress on it.

Therefore, I decided I NEED a swimming pool. I'm sure Matt would like it as well because he hates giving me back massages... he always wants to know when it's his turn.




This is the only picture I found of a swimming pool (and it's actually the hot tub by the swimming pool at Raintree, but it'll have to do). And I don't mind if these lovely ladies come with the pool either. :) I miss these girls! They need to come visit me!!!!
